CRA removed my OTB benefit from expected payments and CCB application from Progress Tracker after assessment is that normal?

I checked my CRA My Account today and noticed my OTB and CCB applications completely disappeared

My OTB says “cheque issued” on May 8

And

My CCB says “In progress”

But neither of them is showing in the tracker and expected payments anymore

CRA balance owing suddenly went from $2K to $0

I owed CRA money because of GST/HST stuff, and about a month ago my account was showing around $2K balance owing.

Today I logged in to check my benefits and suddenly my balance owing says $0. I honestly thought it was a glitch at first, so I logged in multiple times and it still shows $0 every time.

What I don’t understand is: did CRA take the money from my benefits automatically? If they did, how come my benefit section still shows the payment amount and says “cheque issued”?

I’m confused about whether:

the debt got cleared separately,

or they already deducted it internally and the statements just haven’t updated yet.

OTB not received today (May 8) — anyone else missing theirs?

Hey everyone,

My Ontario Trillium Benefit (OTB) was supposed to be deposited today (May 8), but I still haven’t received it.

I’m on direct deposit and usually it comes in the morning, but nothing has shown up yet in my bank.

Has anyone else had their OTB delayed today or not come in yet?
Is it normal for it to arrive later in the day, or should I be worried?

Any info would help, thanks.

CCB application still in review but showing estimated payment

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for the Canada Child Benefit (CCB) and my CRA account still says my application is “in review.”

However, it is already showing an estimated annual amount (around $5,000) and future payment dates.

It also says I will receive a notice around May 24, 2026, which will confirm eligibility and the final amount.

My question is:

Is the amount I’m seeing already confirmed, or is it just an estimate before approval?
Should I expect actual payments before the review is finished?

Any help from people who went through this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi, I’m 19 and not a student. I have an RBC Advantage Banking account, but I haven’t been charged any monthly fees so far. My balance is low, so it’s not a minimum balance waiver. Is this normal, or am I missing something?

NOTE: this is my first year with RBC bank
