More Insults to the Women in Mormonism
The “not rebranding” rebranding campaign continues. Today it is the renaming of the young women’s groups. We see that the brethren will flower the Mormon women with words and titles but not with actual authority.
Women remain secondary, not complete people, and currency for priesthood brethren in the Mormon Church.
Not that long ago I was the faithful servant spouting all the lines I was taught about Mormon women. Now I realize that the biggest insult to someone like Bednar, or any Mormon priesthood authority, would to be treated how Susan Bednar is treated by her husband and the Mormon church.
