Hi, i have a 2019 iMac which I want to replace the memory and the processor in. It's currently running on 8 gigs and an i5 8500. I want to upgrade it to 64GB and an i9 9900K, and I wanted to ask if my iMac can support this amount of memory (DDR4, SODIMM, 2667 MHz). I am aware of the fact that the iMac doesn't have the option of upgrading the RAM by simply opening the little flap at the back and I will give it to a repair shop to replace (the whole computer has to be opened). About the CPU, I wanted to ask if thermal throttling will become an issue, as the i9 is popular with overheating - and if it is really a problem, would the performance be at least a bit better than with the initial CPU (i5 8500)?
