Hi all,I am about to buy a second handed Peugeot Rifter and I’m hesitating between the 1.5 BlueHDi 100hp vs 130hp.
My usage:
- Family with 2 kids
- Mostly city driving
- Occasional trips (highway, some hills)
- Low mileage overall (8.000km/year)
From what I understand:
- 100hp is cheaper and probably enough for city
- 130hp is more relaxed on highways and when loaded?
My concern is:
Does the 100hp feel underpowered in real life, especially with passengers and luggage?
I don’t need performance, but I don’t want to regret it every time I merge onto a highway or go uphill.
Would love to hear from people who’ve actually driven both.
