What do you think of Sigourney Weaver’s french?

I stumbled upon an interview from this week and was surprised at how good her french is! She was interviewed recently by TF1, and spoke about how much she loves french culture and how she lived here as a child. she did switch to english at one point and obviously has an accent but she sounds quite fluent to me. I believe she has done multiple interviews fully in french before in the past, she also says she hasn’t practiced much so maybe she was more fluent before. Would you say she is fluent compared to other american actors who speak french? What do you think of her french level?

Hello,

So I have been getting “normal” canker sores for years but this is much worse. Over the past few years, Ive started getting outbreaks of tiny white canker sores (herpetiform aphthous ulcers) for seemingly no reason at all. I’ll get dozens of tiny white ulcers mainly under my top lip near where the gum begins, but it can also spread to other nearby areas in the mouth. One day i’ll wake up with dozens of cankers that emerge out of nowhere then multiply and suddenly disappear.

my doctor suggested it could potentially be an early sign of behcets but he isn’t an expert on it and i have no other symptoms of that. I’ve been having this for about 2 years and it will occasionally just pop up out of nowhere. i do suspect it might be related to stress or something like an SLS allergy but idk.

it’s not super painful but is VERY uncomfortable and nothing i do seems to help. I gargle with salt water and got a gel from the pharmacy but it doesn’t do anything but irritate it more. Sometimes i can’t even brush my teeth properly because they’re right where the toothbrush hits. There’s no other symptoms other than i often get a bout of angular chelitis around the same time. i can usually tell when i will get herpetiform canker clusters inside my mouth because the corner(s) of my lip start to crack open and sometimes bleed the day before.

How do you find out what causes or triggers these flareups? Do you have any tips for how to get rid of these outbreaks as quickly as possible or prevent them from coming on?? Thank you🙏

most natural ways to say someone is insecure in french?

I know you can say “il/elle manque de confiance” but to me it just sounds like he/she is unconfident literally. I know generally it’s quite similar but I do think there’s somewhat of a difference in image/connotation so I wanted to find a good equivalent for “they’re insecure,” either in general or about something in particular. like he’s insecure about his hair or she’s a really insecure person. does anyone know the best equivalent of this word in french?
