Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Barefoot only addressed the allegations made on Facebook (with the comment section disabled at that). Co-founders are also silent about the matter despite being active on every social media site (Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram) the past couple of days. I understand that the matter is sensitive, and they might be doing stuff behind the scenes, but the way that they are publicly addressing the situation seems lacking.

  1. They didn’t provide an avenue for people to be informed about the matter because they disabled their comment section on Facebook.
  2. Didn’t post their statement on Instagram and TikTok which limits the reach of the issue.
  3. Even the content of their statement seems unsafe for the victims-survivors. Why are they expected to reach out to the company without first being assured that the alleged abuser has been suspended? Where is the victim-first mindset?

I know the “darling of PH theatre” has an upcoming show but damn was I disappointed with her and her husband’s lack of response, and how they are posting regular stories everyday.

I’ve been looking for units in makati for the past 2 weeks, but the ones i do get to see onsite have either:

- GREAT amenities but insanely small cuts ~25 sqm (e.g., The Rise)

- spacious units but old buildings, lots of pest control issues too (e.g., The Palm Tower)

Is there no decently sized furnished condominium unit around Makati anymore? My budget is around 30k, so I thought it should be enough to secure a good one.

My priority really is the comfort of the unit as I’m working from home, so it has been frustrating to see the lack of well-maintained AND decently-sized condo units :((

Feel free to share your reason for voting below! :)

I’m about to move out of my parent’s place (Laguna) this July, I have a WFH job so may liberty to choose kung saan titira without considering proximity to work.

Talked to my relatives and a couple of suggestions came up (Makati, Pasig, Mandaluyong, QC). Pasig and QC for good governance, so when I pay my taxes di labag sa loob ko kasi mararamdaman ko naman yung worth ng binabayad ko. Makati and Mandaluyong for their proximity to CBDs if/when I leave my WFH job.

More details:

- Budget: 20-30k (lower side if unfurnished, higher if furnished)

- Size: > 27 sqm (1 BR)

- Fairly walkable city, accessible banks and groceries

- Not picky sa amenities, will spend more time sa unit (so bigger cut >>> better amenities)

- Would still want good security

- Relatively newer/well-maintained building

- Accommodating staff (had a bad experience with Vista properties, security isn’t good na nga tapos masungit pa staff), can accept parcels/deliveries

- Allows visitors, would prefer those na di kailangan magpaalam pa sa owner 1 day before

- Di hotspot ng Airbnbs, found that a greater number of Airbnbs in a certain condo means na di siya suitable for long-term living for the owners
