So I live in queens NY. There are no legal poker rooms here yet.

If I want to play poker I have to drive for 2 hours to the nearest casino and pay tolls. I recently become a winning player so I want to play more but driving every time just kills my whole day.

Another option is to play in underground clubs and they are very well run BUT the rake is insane 10% with a 20 cap in most places for 1/3. They do have straddles so it plays like 1/3/5 or 1/3/10 sometimes.

there is plenty of fish. But I’m not sure if the rake is just too high to bother playing
