Anyone using AI meeting tools outside of Zoom calls?

I always thought AI meeting apps were mostly for online calls until I started using Bluedot more for in-person stuff too.

The new Apple Watch app has actually been useful for conferences, field meetings, real estate walkthroughs, quick client chats, basically all the conversations where I normally forget details later. I like that it records quietly and later gives me transcripts, summaries, and action items automatically.

Are you mostly using AI meeting tools for online calls, or are you using them in real-world meetings too?

I’ve been trying to find an AI note taking app for meetings that I’ll actually use every day. Most tools feel nice at first, then I stop using them. Right now I’m using Bluedot. It records meetings in the background (no bot), gives me a transcript, a decent summary, and pulls out action items. The searchable transcript is probably what I use the most.

What are you all using that actually sticks long term?

Looking at micro SaaS ideas in AI, most AI meeting tools feel overbuilt. Lots of dashboards, integrations, “all-in-one” positioning. But in practice, what I actually use is simple: record meetings, get a transcript, summary, and action items. I’ve been using Bluedot for that since it runs in the background with no bot and gives clean output.

Does it make sense to go niche and simple, or is distribution already locked by bigger players?
