My daughter is a 6 year, 3 valve Baritone player moving on to college in the fall. She is considering taking part in a non graded program the University has, I guess you could consider it and equivalent to "club' level sports. She has the impression that she would need a 4 valve and that her instrument (Jupitor) is not a quality enough instrument. Is that the case? From my recollection of band, Jupitor is a decent mid level name. And if we should be upgrading what brand should I be looking at that is not ridiculously pricey considering this is going to be basically a voluntary, extra curricular program,. Thanks in advance.
