Humiliated at PCP asking for 1 Month supply of topical estradiol

https://www.reddit.com/r/Menopause/s/lmFD4Mud8b

So everyone was so helpful when I asked about asking my PCP for a scrip when I went today. He said I would have to wait until I go to the gynecologist for my next annual - it will take months. I asked if he could write me for one month. It was so embarrassing. I felt pretty brave when I went in and now I hate the patriarchy more than ever I love my GYN but so does everyone else in town.

Ugh. I have allergies and took Sudafed last night and did not get enough sleep so am a bit verklempt, but felt so treated like a child. :(

Second Chance or Rebound?

Saw old bf from 27 years ago - he is separated and living a couple of hours away. It’s still there - complicated by his busy life, divorce, kids. Several exes have turned up during their liminal times and have seemed to yearn for simpler days and sex, although I like this one enough to feel cautious. I have been to see him a couple of times. No plans other than visits again soon. No drama and all good. Anyone have experience or thoughts? I have feelings for him and trust him, but am pretty shattered from my past.

How to get topical vaginal?

I am 58 and my vagina has disappeared. What do I say or do? I am shy and my PCP has not mentioned this. I do not see myself saying, “So, just got back together with boyfriend from 27 years ago and he will probably notice the complete absence of my entire pussy, which looks like a hairless chicken thigh.”

Help.
