Anosh and Chrono actually faced each other.
"At the beginning of the story, on the rooftop of Noir Academy, located in the world of Chrono Granbefius, Chrono Granbefius and Anos Voldigoad meet each other. It seems that Anos came there after hearing rumors that Chrono was an omniscient and omnipotent being. Chrono then demonstrates why he is called “omniscient” by saying, “The ruler of a distant world… the Tyrannical Demon King, huh.”
Anos shows interest in Chrono by saying, “If a truly omniscient and omnipotent being exists, then I would like to speak with him.” During their conversation, the topic of “favorite foods” comes up. Apparently, Chrono’s favorite food was fried mushrooms. However, his very body — an omniscient and omnipotent body — is something troublesome.
This is because everything tastes delicious to him, while at the same time, everything also tastes terrible. Even so, among all of that, the only flavor he can still clearly remember is the nostalgic taste of the meals his mother used to make for him.
However, in order to destroy that “logic,” the Demon King Anos activates the ＜Demonic Eyes of Chaotic Destruction＞ (<混滅の魔眼>). By doing so, he destroys the logic governing Chrono’s sense of taste, allowing him to experience flavors properly once again.
Afterward, Chrono also thanks Anos by treating him to a mushroom gratin. And so, as the two converse warmly like close friends, the story comes to an end"
