Am I being weird for getting the ick from my crush for liking mushoku tensei?
I just watched season 1 of mushoku tensei, and to be honest the plot was interesting but my interest was soon dismissed as the perverted behaviour turned to pedophilic. A guy I’m talking to likes this show, and honestly after finishing the first season I’m kinda grossed out that he likes this show (it’s his top isekai and one of his top 3 anime’s) I asked him his thoughts on rudeus and he says he doesn’t love or hate him but even his indifference to him lowkey disgusts me???? He said he’s not defending him and doesn’t support the pedophilic behaviour but said it was a different era but I argued he was from the 21st century when he was reincarnated and he’s still and adult in a child’s body…. He wasn’t out right defending him but just being indifferent to a character like rudeus and being able to look past such a flawed mc and still rate the show a 10/10 is mind boggling to me….. also the kind of humour in the show is so ….. makes me question my the image I had of him (I’ve known him for 2 years)
It’s a fictional tv show, he doesn’t even “like” the main character, am I being too judgemental? I don’t know maybe I’m overthinking this
