Prolific responded today regarding the researcher review site. They're acknowledging the problems participants have been facing and say they have major improvements in the works for the rejections dispute process (and more). They plan to announce the details on the main subreddit soon.
While they haven't directly addressed my proposal yet (exposing Researcher ID in the study listing UI), I'm glad they're finally taking participant feedback seriously on this issue.
For now, ProlificTea will stay online. We'll keep it running until we see how effective these upcoming changes actually are.
Wanted to share this for transparency. After the post about the researcher review site was deleted, the mods sent me a message (today) explaining their reasons.
Self-promotion rules and privacy concerns around listing researcher names publicly.
I replied addressing both points: the site already has a researcher opt-out system and explicitly prohibits personal information beyond what appears on Prolific itself.
I also proposed that Prolific expose the Researcher ID in the study listing UI before a task begins, it already exists in their API, so the site could be searched by researcher IDs alone with no names or affiliations stored at all.
Full conversation is in the screenshot.
On a separate note, I am happy to announce the big changes implemented in the website.
We currently have a proper user accounts system (auth). Rules, a guide page, and many other things are added to the website.
I am really grateful for everyone who supports me.
Please browse the website and let me know what you guys think!!
If there are devs/designers/anyone who want to contribute to the design or change anything let me know please.
ONE LAST THING: New domain!
It is frustrating to see a post with 160+ upvotes and clear community support get deleted without an explanation.
Users clearly needed this, the website is running overtime with more users than I ever imagined.
Mods just decided to delete the post. Why?
I have a genuine question about microwaves, and I can't find a subreddit related to it. This is the closest I have gotten.
Anyway, my question is, why don't they place the magnetron on top?
It would heat food much more evenly than from the sides.
I have to change the logo, I got no ideas. Draw a logo, I will use it.
EDIT: use this instead of imgur, blocked in the UK.

I have finished the researchers reviews website.
Improvements are welcome, if something isn't right please let me know.
The source code is public on my github if any developer wants to add anything.
EDIT: If someone can design a quick logo that would save me a lot of effort, I am not good with designing..

The last question was an non-skippable attention check that has nothing to do with the scenario:
Question:
What is the problem mentioned in the scenario?
Am I missing something or this is just stupid? Researchers hasn't responded yet. Should I just return it?
I get goosebumps whenever I use or hear a pencil noise, yes, a pencil. Specially when it's not sharpened enough.
And some similar noises also trigger it.
I barely made my way through engineering drawing class cause we had to use different kinds of pencils for a full year.
Never in my life have I ever heard or met anybody with the same symptoms, does anybody here know anything about that?
