Pain pump process

I'm getting a pain pump soon. Once the trial is done what happens next? How long is the typical wait until it's put in? How soon after I get it do most people get the first fill of pain meds? What did u guys get in it and what works best for u? How long did it take before u have good relief from pain? How long did ur doctors give u pain pills for while waiting for good relief from the pump? Sorry for all the questions but I want to compare what my doctor said to others.

How well does CBD with no THC work for pain? I finally got permission to use it as long as it has no THC. I'm on morphine 15mg 4 times a day and I've been on it before. My issue with it is that I get use to any med extremely fast and then it no longer works. I was on it before about 10 tears ago and it only worked for about 5 months before we had to increase it. And even then it only started to work again for another 3 months. Then we had to switch to a different med. I've been on every pain med except methadone. I'm not even going to consider that. I was put on sublixone and when it stopped working I wanted off it. And it took a year for the doctor to let me off it. I had to get my dentist write several letters telling him I needed to come off it. It ruined my teeth. $7000 worth of damage. I had been sent to a drug rehab clinic because my pain mgmt doctor wasn't comfortable prescribing it since it not usually for pain. And now I have on my record that I was receiving it a drug rehab clinic. Which looks bad enough. So I've been back on morphine for a month and it's already not working well at all. I was afraid of this. I warned them this might happen. I got them to agree to let me take CBD as long as it's THC free. I've ordered samples to try it before I get a big bottle. Has anyone tried this while on pain meds? Does it help or has anyone had to increase the dosage after they have been on it a while. I'm not sure if anyone has the same issue with meds that I do but if ur body burns thru meds and has to either increase the dosage or try something else and they have tried CBD please I would love to hear from u especially. And before anyone asks I've tried weed before for pain and while it gets me high and hungry it does nothing for my pain. I really hope I gets some good news.
