If anyone has watched interstellar they probably know about gargantua taking 100 hours to render one frame. My question is would it still take that long with current tech (and if not how long would it take)

There wouldn't be a lot of practical use for it but being known as the first person to see Earth through a telescope would be pretty cool

Why don't they get sucked straight into the black hole because if light can't even get out of a black hole why does the accretion dis wrap directly around it without going in

im assuming light pollution would make a big difference but i live on the outskirts of bristol so would i be able to see like the orion nebula or something
