Trouble contacting customer services
I'll start by saying I'm in the UK. I've had an issue where my VIP membership was supposed to renew but didn't - my account just kept saying it would renew on a date in the past - so I contacted customer services via the chatbot to find out what was happening.
Got to speak to "John", who said they would have to investigate further and that they would email me. I haven't heard anything, but my VIP membership has now been ended, which I'm pretty mad about because I can no longer used the points I'd accrued.
I'm basically just trying to contact Kobo to find out what's happening, but when I go to the help page and click on the Contact box, it takes me to my previous chat. I can't start a new chat even with a bot. "John", the person I "spoke" to before hasn't been active in three days, apparently.
Does anyone know how to force a new chat to start? Or if there's some other way to get help?
