I bought the game Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in the current spring sale. However I didn’t realise that I and already had another version so I requested a refund. However that was declined but a couple days after it was declined it gave a warning icon and said that I would need to purchase the game to play it like you would get once you refund a game. I checked its refund status and it was still declined and check my bank account and I hadn’t received the money. Does anyone know what I should do?

I purchased around 8 cheap games in the Xbox spring sale and thought the next couple days a tested all of them to see if I enjoy them and would want to keep them, originally I refunded about a quarter of them and all was fine, but then after requesting a refund for about a half of the original purchase total, everyone got declined!

I had only played a couple minutes of each and had purchased them well within the refund time limit

Can someone please explain to me why this is?

I feel like if it is because I am making too many refund requests that I shouldn’t be punished at it actually just puts a bad impression on them and the game creators as the only reason I am making the request to begin with is due to my dislike of the games and unsatisfied with their performance

If anyone knows what I can do to either appeal their decision or talk to customer support that would be great!
