How long for fcc/bbb complaints to be resolved? (Go to a corporate store for trade ins)

I spent 4 hours on the phone with ATT, Verizon, AND UPS just to be told there’s nothing they can do.

So I gave ATT two free phones and I still have to pay $60 more a month on my bill.

They tried to shift the blame of UPS.

The situation: I traded in through the mail - I didn’t know any better I guess. And honestly - with all these issues, mail in trade ins shouldn’t exist.

I dropped of my two phones in two different boxes to UPS. They gave me the shipping receipt with tracking number. Here’s the issue: the tracking number ATT attributed to my TWO phones was the same tracking number for my new phones. Wow. So the tracking information I saved for SEVEN MONTHS is invalid.

ATT says there 0 mention of trade in on my account. I have an email saying I had two trade ins for my plan.

I gave them the IMEI numbers and they said they don’t have the phones.

Here’s the kicker - I called two months ago and they told me that the trade in promotion WAS on my account and that the warehouse DID RECIEVE THEM. so who’s lying?

I filed a complaint with the BBB and FCC. I’ll let you all know how long it takes to be resolved.

As of now - I gave ATT two free phones and have to pay over $2k extra for my new phones.

Beware of ATT and trade ins, especially with mail in. I mailed in with Verizon and had only ONE issue, and that was because I put them in the same box. They were never able to find the second phone, but they credited my account anyway. ATT just stayed, no we can’t help but will still keep taking your money.

If they can’t straighten this out I’m going to pay off my phones and join a simple plan like cricket or something because these major carriers are almost like scammers if feels like.

That being said - how long does it take for complaints to be corrected after filing complaints?
