Lens for shooting whales?

I'm going to be shooting whales in Maui for a cinematic family video.

I plan to shoot on a whale watching tour boat a little after sunrise, and then from the beach/hill during sunset if possible.

I currently have a Sony 24-70 f/2.8 GM II which I don't think will get me the range I need.

I've been looking into lenses, and these are the ones I've boiled it down to:

1: Sony FE 70-300 G OSS

2: Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM II

3: Tamron 50-300mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD

4: Tamron 50-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD

5: Sony FE 200-600mm F5.6-6.3 G OSS

6: Sony FE 100-400 GM OSS

I'm leaning towards #1/#6 or #3/#4, as I think #2 might not be far enough and #5 will be too big and bulky for my bag.

I'm only considering the Tamron's as I'll probably be using these only a couple of times.

4night + 1 night free points stay + FNC options?

Hi,

I'm currently looking into booking a trip for somewhere tropical/beach/relaxful. I have a Hilton aspire with a FNC and about 500k Hilton Honors points. My plan is to book somewhere for 5 nights (4 nights + 1 night free) exclusively on points, then add a FNC for 6 nights total.

I've been looking at several options and the Grand Wailea, WA in Maui currently holds the top stop.

However, I've been reading many reviews on TripAdvisor and various reddit posts and it seems like everyone either absolutely hates it or loves it. It seems like folks who mentioned booking through points seem to love it. I'm assuming it's because they don't feel like they were ripped off spending 6-12k on a vacation not living up to expectations.

Anyways, we did the Caribbean's last year, and I don't think we have enough points for the Bora Bora / Maldives options. Not like we'd want to take a toddler on that flight anyways.

I've been looking around a lot, and I noticed a few other options in Hawaii, but the Waikiki Village seems too chaotic from what I've been reading.

I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas on where to go?

I greatly appreciate any insight!
