Lost 20 hours of progress after moving my PS5 to a new location? Help!
Hey everyone,
I’m hoping someone here has dealt with this before because I’m honestly gutted and really don't want to start from scratch.
I started the game two days ago and put in a solid 20 hours of playtime. Everything was working fine as of yesterday. Today, I moved my PS5 to my parents' house to stay for a bit. The internet here is pretty spotty and slow, which might be relevant.
When I booted up the console and launched the game, my save file was completely gone. It’s acting like I’m starting for the a random safe from 8 hours.
Has anyone experienced this? Is it possible the PS5 didn't upload my local save to the cloud before I unplugged it, or is the bad internet here preventing it from syncing properly?
If anyone knows how to recover the file or force the console to look for local data, please let me know!
