We have 109 miles of bike infrastructure!

One of the things we’re starting to hear as residents is that people aren’t using the Union bike track, or the Cordova bike lanes, or other bike-related projects, because we in Pasadena don’t have a bike network. But we do have a bike network! We have 109 miles of bike infrastructure! (109.1 miles, to be exact.)

Over the last year, the board of Keep Pasadena Moving worked on a project to determine just how much bike infrastructure there is in the city. Keep Pasadena Moving’s number one goal is always safety. And our Department of Transportation has worked for many years to develop a system of infrastructure on streets that they have determined are good ones for cycling. Click here to read an op-ed written by one of our board members with more details on all the infrastructure we have.
