Redditors that are paranoid every post/comment is AI/Bots

Almost every thread that gets popular nowadays has a bunch of users accusing the OP of being a bot or using AI. Or they accuse most of the comments are bots. They're also super suspicious of anyone with an account less than 6 months old (Are new users not allowed??) Real people exist here guys! And they're the majority of comments/posts you see.

Transplants, did you like saunas before Phoenix?

I want to move to phoenix. It's everything I want in a city. The heat does concern me a little but I'll take it over freezing every day like I am currently. Saunas (160°F) are therapeutic to me so I don't really think I'll mind too much. I have lived in a tropical environment before and the humidity was what annoyed me not necessarily the temperature. I imagine now that you're somewhere with scorching high temperatures you have no desire to go inside a sauna but just wondering how it compares

Job unionized and changed retirement benefits

(This might be more financial related, just wanted to hear your thoughts)

I live in a HCOL city, the salary is enough to live paycheck to paycheck and I have savings as a buffer in case emergencies happened. A big reason I took the job despite the meager salary was due to a generous 401K contribution of 8% (I contribute 7) as I really want to build as much retirement money as I can while I'm young to let it compound. 2 months in my job finalizes a contract to unionize.

This means we're now part of a pension and no longer 401K. As part of the pension, I now have to contribute 9% (an extra 2%) of my salary but I only get pension money if I stay at least 5 years. I have run the numbers and the pension payouts absolutely suck compared to the 8% match we were getting before. I guarantee no one that voted for this actually ran the numbers. I'm basically losing out on tens of thousands of dollars over the course of those 5 years. The pension pay does increase the longer you stay but this is not a role/city I want to be at for 25+ years (and even then the pension payouts still majorly lose out to the money I would've accumulated with an 8% match over 25 years).

I had only planned to stay at this job for ≈2 years as I just wanted the experience on my resume and wasn't a big fan of living in the city but now I feel urged to leave asap. It feels like the longer I stay the more I'm losing out in lifelong retirement income. The sooner I leave the sooner I can find a different role that will compensate me for retirement and not lock me into a pseudo contract (I probably won't find another 8% match but I'll settle for 3-4%).

Why are there tap to pay terminals on the Muni Metro?

They make you tap to pay to enter the stations. Are you supposed to tap at the gates AND once you're inside a metro rail?
