My 8 year old Bosch 300 series heating element crapped out code E:09. Everything else seems fine.

Authorized dealer labour $300cdn (1.5 hours) and part $300cdn. $600 total.

Buying a new comparable dishwasher would be $1600cdn with install.

What would you do in my situation?

I can say this for most car companies but being an Acura owner I see no future or reason to buy gas guzzling cars from them.

The recent gas prices which will remain for the foreseeable future and Canada allowing Chinese EV competition into the country is gonna strike price wars. It already has with Tesla dropping their prices for model 3 in and model y.

Why would anyone think about buying a 65k cdn RDX at this point that’ll consume 4k in gas a year.

Writing is on a wall and Acura is a dead company walking with no EV future. Hybrid is half ass and not the answer and their new RDX is taking a 2 year hiatus because they’re so mismanaged.

Goodluck to you Acura. Time to move on to forward thinking car companies.

Maybe the wrong crowd to be asking since you all have one but these Tesla are everywhere.

Taxis, Ubers, Model 3 and model y. The streets are littered with only these EV vehicles. Half of them are all damaged and poorly taken car of.

There’s no character, no one turns heads for these commuter cars and they’re as common and boring as corollas now. The redesigns are the same car with different taillights.

Price/value is attractive not gonna lie but anyone feel the same that everyone around you is driving the same damn car.
