The other day I noticed a bit of dried coolant around the weep hole on my 24 T7, it's had a clutch recall done and it's first service. Has approx 5100kms
I took it into the same shop who sold it to me and who have done it's maintenance. They later called me telling me the water pump seal and shaft need replacing. Which they told me Yamaha has said isn't under warranty as it's a wear item.
The bike has next to no kms, everything else except clutch, oils and filters are as they were changed with first maintenance and recall.
It doesn't feel right, feels scummy. I've not looked much into it as the workshop has worked around it and I am getting it under warranty now.
Has anyone else had water pump issues?
Or water pump warranty issues?
