How many times a day do you pump?

Many times a day do you pump? Were you able to keep the number of times the same while somehow increasing output as your baby grows? Please say how much time post partum you are if you can.

I currently pump about 3-4 times a day, 3 weeks post partum. I have started to build a stash but I would love to make so much more if possible (going back to work in 2 weeks), and worry that I may not increase my supply without pumping more often than I do.

Tried two new fruits over the past week.

I occasionally get jackfruit as a treat from this Korean store, but found Mamey sapote there two days ago. Also found kumquats at a local grocery store!

Mamey: it’s definitely sweet. But my palate could not quite reconcile the taste and texture. I would describe the taste as a sweetened avocado? Like a mix of ripe papaya and avocado? Anyway, I’m glad I tried it, but I don’t think I’d seek it out in the future.

Kumquat: this was pretty interesting. I knew to expect a sweet rind, but no one ever said anything about the actual juice/pulp. It’s an interesting marriage between the super tangy juice and the super sweet rind. Definitely a complex taste combo and I love it. I love sweet tangy stuff so this is very much in line with that. Will totally purchase many many more in the future.

Jackfruit: the GOAT as usual. Just delicious.
