When a journalists endangered other journalists . . .

When a journalists endangered other journalists . . .

Freedom of the press, Faithful to the truth, Braveness with integrity.

They gambled to bring Bato to the senate for an additional vote to oust Sotto.

It's getting clear along the way.

Weekend reports stated that DDS camp lacked the vote count to oust Tito Sen. Bato is also on ICC's website na. The house is already done with their articles of impeachment.

Time is the ultimate game.

DDS camp needed Bato's presence to secure a majority bloc-vote to oust Tito Sen.

When Cayetano announced in the senate na may majority vote na sila, nabanggit niya na they had multiple meetings before that.

The deal gamble is, a TRO from SC must be issued on that day or the next day of the ousting para hindi maaresto si Bato.

But no TRO was issued yet. They need to have an escape plan for Bato.

Now Marcoleta asked the session to allow the senate to work remotely.

First reports stated that it was Robin who initiated the OSAA to prepare long arms. Then naging tactical gear na.

After that, the shootout happened. The senate was under "attacked".

Around 2:30am, Bato escaped with Robin allegedly as the driver of the van.

Bato is now a fugitive. His wife thanked the senators in a message.

But Cayetano's statement earlier was it was not an escape dahil walang warrant. He is not against Bato escaping the Senate.

The pieces fit together that what really transpired was it was an escape route for Bato as they gambled to bring him sa senado to control the whole senate through ousting Tito Sen.

Why may shootout? To make the narrative na Bato is martyr to escape because he brought danger sa senate if doon siya titira.

Don't believe in Cayetano's legal jargon antics and rhetorics to control the narrative.

On the same day of the shootout, the articles of impeachment arrived. 16 votes are needed sa impeachment but them controlling the senate can give them the power to question the legality of the case and evidences like EDSA dos na 11 votes lang pinaglabanan.

Of course you know why they want to control the senate.

Journalism is something you do, not something you call for yourself

You can see na nilalabanan ng mga journalist yung defense mechanism ng katawan nila tumakbo, pinilit nila humarap sa putukan at magcover, all while having the thought na baka mamatay sila.

What I really admired from the raw footages is nagtutulungan sila kahit di magkanetwork.

After ng putukan?

Fck the mainstream media ba kamo PGMN, James Deakin? CJ Hirro? Gawin niyo muna 'to tangna niyo.

The Downfall of LOREN LEGARDA | From Darling of the Senate to a Clown of Her Own Greed

Sa isang impeachment hearing noon, Loren Legarda was captured crying together with her co-senators.

That moment alone cemented Legarda's moral aptitude as a senator, during the early 2000s isa sya sa mga batang senador na unstoppable, matalino and kahanga-hanga. She was the darling of the senate sa sobrang tapang niya tumayo for what is right for the Filipino people.

During her years as a journalist, she was the Karen Davila before on how straightforward to ask questions.

For me na millennial, isa sya sa mga hinahangaan ko noon sa senado nung bata ako.

But now, look at her.

It's the pinnacle of her greedy tactics along the years.

She used her power to control the academic honors of her son. She used her political status to secure deals for her son's solar company.

She ran under the slate of the man who came from a corrupt family, and now that she is ripping the karma of going against her morals before . .

She went full out by being on the side of possibly the worst political color of Philippine history.

Imagine sacrificing your morality, your intelligence, your career, your dignity . .

all for just politics.

If you will watch the footage after that impeachment hearing, she answered why she was crying and why she stood against Erap. But recently nung tinanong siya why she joined the DDS camp, she just answered:

"I have a lot of things to do sa 6th floor"

The man behind ABOUT YOU's dreamy surreal emotional sound . . .

Aside from the vocal reverb that Jack Antonoff suggested to Matty's voice in About You, what made the song distinct from the whole BFIAFL album is how dreamy and surreal it feels. I've listened to the song for almost a thousand times, the violin string sound at the back as well as the surreal gritty sound makes always feel dreamy to me like I am longing for something.

According to the band, they really wanted to capture that longing feeling and since string instruments was their main thing in the album, they resonated with Warren Ellis, an old man with a long experience in this type of vibe. Basically, his direction how to make it dreamy and his violin parts in the song really adds that surreal sound that made the song unique from the whole album.

The reverb and dreamy arrangement by Jack and Matty makes it feel like a memory, but Warren's inputs made that memory into a longing feeling of missing someone.

Who's the Artist You Would Want The 1975 to Collab with?

I would love The 1975 to have a collab with Mk.Gee and Dijon. For me it's a deadly combo if these 3 would make a song together.

Bon Iver will be good as well!

THE COST OF TOO MUCH POLITICS | Critical bills are now in jeopardy

More than the anger of the circus in the Senate yesterday, mas nagaalala at iniisip ko ngayon yung mga batas na sinusulong na malaki ang epekto para guminhawa tayong mga Pilipino.

Bam and Kiko is the chairman of some of the critical committees sa senado na humahawak sa issue ng mga magsasaka at estudyante.

  • Kiko: Agriculture, Food, and Agrarian Reform Committee
  • Kiko: Constitutional Amendments and Revision of Codes Committee
  • Kiko: Justice and Human Rights Committee
  • Bam: Science and Technology Committee
  • Bam: Basic Education Committee
  • Bam: EDCOM II (Second Congressional Commission on Education) Committee

Why I Love Artists Who Produces their Own Songs . . .

I think it's only me pero there is a different atmosphere, vibe or even quality sa kanta ng mga artists kapag sila mismo nag-compose and produce ng song nila.

I started listening to these artists sa picture when they were in their indie years. There is something with their songs na hindi tunog commercialized and unapologetic sa sound like it's their DNA na nasa kanta nila.

And when you watch their clips in YT how they produced their songs? It's so mind blowing and you'll appreciate their song more.

They understand complex emotions and can accurately transform it to a song.

This is one of the reasons why I am always hooked by indie artists even up today, I love discovering indie artists who always did everything by their own from scratch starting with composition up until production.

Who is your favorite artists na producer din?

How to make a good resume for FRESH GRADS (with interview prep hack)

Hello! Recently I saw a lot of fresh grads struggling to secure their first job due to competition. I was an HR before with experience in recruitment.

The problem with freshgrad resume is they are too generic no matter how they construct it. To solve this, I wrote down a guide na pwede mo gamitin to make your resume competitive.

Idetalye mo bawat isa, like ano ginawa mo, pano mo sinolve ganun.
  2. Then mag search ka ng 10 job openings na magkakaprehas ng role or function.
  3. Open mo ChatGPT then paste mo yung lahat ng job description ng lahat ng 10 job openings.
  4. Then gamitin mo tong prompts na to:

"I am a fresh graduate, write down all the soft skills that I need based on the job opening I put here"

Tapos isulat mo tong prompt na to: "Match the soft skills you provided with my activities during my college years that I put here, make sure that it will sound like I am capable for the job openings I listed here based on the matching of my college activities and the soft skills you provided"

  1. Then lagay mo to kay ChatGPT then gamitin mo tong prompt na to:

Now that you connect my activites to theh softskills from the job descriptions, can you write down a resume breakdown of my capability for the roles using the format below:

SOFT SKILLS
- Softskill #1: _______.
- School activity that made me have that soft skill

Note: Make sure to put 2-3 school activities per softskill. Constructed it with the pasttense verb as the first word of every soft skill part. Be detailed and specific. Make sure to make it sound that those soft skills and school acitvity makes me suitable for the job based on the job opennings.

--

Lagay mo lang yan lahaht na parang work experiences mo.

By doing this, mas nagiging akma yung resume mo sa job na hinahanap mo and it also gives you advantage.

Edit mo lang yan at pagandahin mo. Pag may tumawag na sayo, copy mo lang yung job description ng inaaplyan mo na for interview ka na and paste it kay chat gpt then attach your full resume then use this prompt.

"Help me prepare myself for the interview, based on my resume, how am I capable to the position based on the job description and my resume? Is there something I am in advtantage of? Also list all my disadvantages and provide my answers to leverage this weaknesses"

Tapos pagaralan mo na pano ka nagmamatch sa job description base sa resume mo, that's your preparation sa interview.

Balitaan mo ko if may tumawag sayo after doing this!

Goodluck!!!

Conflict of Interest? Meralco has their own solar power installation company

My friend works beside Meralco's building and she draws roof installation plans of solar panels. 3rd party employee sila ni Meralco - as their client. If you didn't know, many malls in NCR have already installed solar-power systems in their building na it was under Meralco's contract with my friend as one of the 3rd party team na nagdrawing ng installation plans.

I am baffled that Meralco is pushing for a stricter rules in Solar Installation, clearly the solar-power market is getting more value as energy crisis worsen.

For safety reasons, walang masama dun. But may grey area lang, if Meralco succeeded to push for stricter rules, then solar power installation will be narrowed down to established companies and included don ay yung company nila.

Another deeper grey area is, they could have big advantage dahil power distribution is their main business and they are already an established brand in thee energy sector.

I hope it's not a conflict of interest but ano tingin niyo?

"PGMN is the leading journalism network" - James Deakin

Mabanta's arrest is a mark to those who call themselves media/journalists pero mga bayaran, vlogger, at naglagay lang ng camera at news anchor pero di alam ang true principle ng journalism like releasing the story in the name of the truth.

I just find James Deakin's remarks to Mabanta ridiculous and offending at the same time na he created the fastest growing independent journalism network PGMN pero nange-extort sila. No oneeads journalism like that

He is still quiet today.

I'm starting to enjoy Punjabi Hiphop LOOOOOOOOOL

Di talaga ako fan ng tugtugan ng India or Punjabi basta anything like their sound.

Anyways congrats and happy for the Punjabi or Indian people! Nasa global spotlight yung music niyo.

(Please educate me if tama yung Punjabi or indian? May mga Pakistani rin kasi na ganito ata tugtugan? will edit my caption pag may nagcorrect! :) )

I think TV5 is missing something here. Before when Philippine television was dominated by ABS and GMA, people were very tired sa typical formulaic shows ng two giant networks.

And since hindi pa lahat may smartphones, socialmedia, and internet noon, TV5 was the great avenue to watch shows na kakaiba and bago.

They were very good at making shows na parang content creation style na explorative.

They can't beat weekday primetime shows kaya they targeted Saturday primetime with the cult classic Midnight DJ and Talentadong Pinoy.

Sunday Primetime? Cult classic again, WOW MALI.

Drama? People were tired sa typical afternoon or primetime dramas kaya they resorted to a real life drama copying Jerry Springer's style, thus we have the cult classic Face-to-face.

Weeknights with TV5 were a mixed of edgy comedy shows like LokoMoko and Ogags or Tagalog dubbed movies.

They also saw that many kids and teens were lacking the luxurious access to 24/7 animes and cartoons sa free-TV kaya nagkaroon ng Animega and Nickelodeon.

Shakugan No Shana? Special A? Fushigi Yugi? Code Geas? Those were the greats after ng Barney, BluesClues, Bob the Builder, and HighFive sa umaga.

Sa sobrang content creator ng TV5 noon, until now ginagawang memes and pinapanood parin madalas mga shows nila sa YT like Face-to-face and WOW MALI.

--

TV5 don't need to compete to be at the top spot, I bet if they compete to be your alternative channel with new and edgy shows like what they produced before? Perhaps their ratings might go up again.

Yes they are replicating the shows today but not as edgy anymore.

Jeez I miss this old TV5!

There's nothing more miserable than this man. Akala niya ang taas na niya by playing fire to his connections and networks, nakalimutan niya pulitika yung pinagalalaruan niya . . and it's Philippine politics, one of the dirtiest politics a nation could've had.

You play dirty politics and expect nothing dirty will come back at you? He was not as clever as how Jeffrey Epstein played dirty politics.

Now everyone is against him, DDS man or Apologists sinusuka sya.

Gusto ko lang i-share to kase I was once like most of us na gusto maka-reach ng milestone na to. Gusto ko rin i-share ano yung naging basis ng employer ko why they chose me para makatulong sa mga nahihirapan maghanap ng work.

For context, I was an HR practitioner for a year after I graudated then I switched career sa marketing. I am already at my 5th year working in this field and here are the things I learned.

  • Learn the process flow of your field: from what I observed, sensitive ang mga company sa mga tools na kaya mo gamitin, swerte mo if yung tool ay nagamit mo na pero kung hindi pa, as much as possible kabisaduhin mo yung concept ng field mo kase kahit anong tool pa gamitin mo if you know the general concept of your work, maapply mo sya sa any tool. Example, maraming tools for email marketing, pero kung alam mo yung general concept ng email marketing and how to construct a campaign, you can adjust immediately sa bagong tool.
  • Be obssessed with processes, systems and think with STRUCTURE: based on my observation, if makikita to ng company sa resume mo as your soft skill? Makukuha mo agad yung kiliti nila. Why? Because when you think with structure and obssessed ka sa processes, they can rely on you and mabilis mo maiintinidihan lahat ng nangyayare sa company. Sa totoo lang, ilang interviews na pinagdaanan ko and iba yung ngiti ng nagiinterview when you say and explain how structured you think and how obssessed your are sa processes.
  • Aim to be a generalist more than just a specialist: Sa isang field, maraming functions meron nito. Pag marami ka nang naexperience na functions, masasabi mo na generalist ka na but if nagfocus ka lang sa isang function and you mastered it, specialist ka na. Ex. sa digital marketing may email marketing, social media, ads, crm and etc., kapag marami kang experience sa bawat isang yan, pwede mo masabi na generalist ka na pero kung nagfocus ka lang sa email marketing, then specialist ka on that email marketing. The thing is, you can switch to a specialist kapag generalist ka.
  • Your resume is just 0.1% of your chance to get hired: Sobrang hirap na magapply ngayon and mas colorful na ang resumes ng applicants. Aware dito ang employers so make sure sa interview at ang daming magaganda ang resume pero pagdating sa interview, generic lang kaya nila isagot. Make sure na kaya mo iexplain in detail yung skills mo. Hack: Use your experiences as an example after mo magexplain. This is very effective, promise.
  • Master the art of Layman's language: Ito talaga sukatan if you really have a deep knowledge on your profession and gaano ka ka-structured magisip. Naaalala ko noon my boss advised me na if hindi mo kaya ipaintindi verbally sa mas simpleng salita ibig sabihin non hindi mo gamay yung work mo. This is my strategy sa interviews and nakukuha ko talaga interests nila once I explain in layman's term. That gesture na naintindihan ka nila? Yun yung sweet spot na you are capturing their interest more.

Maglaan ka rin ng hardwork na matutunan ang maraming bagay sa field mo, promise magugulat ka na lang sobrang valuable na pala ng skills and experiences mo to the point na you can secure a high paying job kahit marami kayong naglalaban-laban sa position na yan.

Sana nakatulong! Goodluck!

Tapos wala ka man lang makita-kita na malaking tarpaulin na nagsasabi na "this is where your taxes go" tapos andon yung detalye ng project.

Halatang naghahabol bigla kung sino man humawak nun e.
