Yet another "Should I get a Clara or Libra" post, with some followup questions.

As the title suggests, I'm looking at picking up a Kobo ereader in the near future. Currently I have a 2018 Kindle Paperwhite, and I want to get out of the Amazon ecosystem. In the past, I briefly had a Kobo Libra 2 (for about 6 months before it was stolen out of my bag), and I really liked it.

I know I'd like the ergonomics of the Libra Colour, but I'm a little unsure about the color screen itself, and also about just how bulky it might get with a case (my previous Libra I used without a case). This brings me to my questions:

  1. Does the color really make that much a difference? I've looked at a lot of comparisons online, but it's hard to tell for sure until you see it in front of you, and there's nowhere near me that carries Kobos at all (or other color ereaders for that matter).
  2. Do you feel the need to use a case on your Libra? I use one on my PW and I think I'd want to use it on the Clara too, if only to make it a bit easier to hold. I mostly read at home, but I often take my device with me in the front pocket of my backpack. I'm also worried that a case might make it feel less comfortable in my hand for something as large as the Libra. I do most of my reading in bed, holding the device with one hand.

As of right now, I don't really read manga or graphic novels on an ereader, but I might start if I have a color device with a large enough screen. What do you think? Kobo Clara BW, Clara Colour, or Libra Colour? And which of them need a case?

Estimate for my 100,000 mile service. According to Google, this is pretty overpriced, but I thought I’d get advice here. Which of these do I actually need, and what do we think it should cost? 2022 Kia Rio 5-Door, 110k miles, 1.6L 4-Cylinder CVT

[WTS] Kaweco, Parker, assorted inks.

Selling two pens (one with some vintage-friendly ink included), and some inks. Add $5 for shipping, CONUS only, Paypal G&S. Verification

PENS

  1. $110 Kaweco AL Sport Piston Filler <M>. B+ condition because of some minor wear on the aluminum finish around the threads. Writes great and I've never had a problem with it, it's just a little too short for my preferences.
  2. $40 BUNDLE! 1970's Parker 45 Flighter & a bottle each of Waterman Intense Black & Serenity Blue. Pen is C condition for some minor tarnishing on the body, but writes well; I just don't use it often enough to warrant keeping. Converter inlcuded. Inks are both 95%+ full.

INKS (Can be purchased as bundle, though I may need to check shipping costs)

  1. J. Herbin Emerald of Chivor 50ml (85%), $20
  2. De Atramentis Document Brown 45ml (99%), $15
  3. Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki 15ml (98%), $8
  4. Diamine Registrar's Blue-Black 30ml (90%), $15
  5. Colorverse Coffee Break 30ml (90%), $13
