Why do I even bother coming back.
I was on a week long, vacation and it was wonderful. as I was in Boston for the magical weekend of anime and red Sox games. Anyway while I was in my hotel, I got a call from the store and I didn't pick up because I am on vacation. the store manager found my Facebook and try to contact me on messenger. I said what's up, you are no call no show on Easter. I was like no and send her a photo that I took with the schedule showing the request off on it. she was like I have no janitor right now. I was like I will be back Monday. plus Easter is voluntary because the store is only open 6 hours.
I get back on Monday and I clock in a half way through gathering trash I get a call to the office and am told that I am being written up for taking a picture of my schedule because other people's names were in it. I was like yeah, that ain't happening because I want my union rep. she was like it just write up.
my union rep showed up and the other managers came in and saw the write up was like no reason for a write up.
when I got to my department I saw that the other janitor never changed the mop water for a week and I had to throw out the mop head because it was moldy and had to bleach and wash the bucket. I brought it up to her and she was, he is like a hard worker unlike you.
two coworkers told me he only showed up for two of his shifts and he spends most of his time outside smoking and then spraying air freshener through the entire store.
I feel like why didn't I just stay up in Boston and never come back
