LifeTrend Solitude Cold plunge from Costco HELP Electric bill!
Hello, I live in SWFL and got the Lifetrend Solitude cold plunge / hot tub for my lanai. I've had it less than 5 days and checked my kilowatt utilization and it was 113 kWh which on a normal day previously hovers around 49 even with using my infrared sauna for about an hour. I saw online that some people said you can control it via an app and wifi but this model has none of those options. Please help me to figure out how I can keep this plunge safe and economical (clean water). I'd like to plunge daily around 6am-7am at 50 degrees. I don't want it to sit stagnant all day and grow bacteria but also don't want to fight all day to stay at temp and there's no remote way to set up a scheduled. I'm about to send it back (which would be a totally different nightmare) but I can't have a triple electric bill. I'll just keep my cold plunge membership that would be way more affordable.
