Should I go back and ask for a refund on my nails?

I went and got a mani pedi yesterday, it was $112 plus tip. My nails are dip base with gel painted on top for the french tip and design. They are kind of irritating my cuticles so I feel like they have flooded my cuticles with the dip powder or the gel polish. Idk what to do. I just recently starting getting my nails done so i’m a beginner at this and I’ve never had to complain before.
