Applied for a jop on siemens energy, the application status still In Process Recruiter within 3 months untill know without any change, is this mean anything ?

Applied to a Shift Engineer role at Siemens Energy 2+ months ago. Status moved to “Hiring Manager” after 2 weeks and hasn’t changed since. Two weeks ago, a talent partner asked for my current/expected salary and experience summary, but I haven’t heard back since. I’m starting to think my expected salary might have been higher than their budget—could that be the reason?
