Best resources for learning fundamental concepts and history?
I’m interested in learning more about the historical development and fundamental concepts of ML/DL/LLMs but I’m finding that everything I come across is either too dumbed down or too advanced (by advanced I mean skipping right to the current edge of development). I am not a computer scientist or developer but I got my first computer in the mid 80s, have always dabbled in hobby coding, did well in stats ii and calc iii and have held a variety of STEM jobs that require mathematical understanding, so I may not be passing assessments on proofs or anything but I feel like I can read and understand mathematical and logical principles fairly well.
