Passed HesiA2 this morning speed run

just took the hesi, tested in A&P, reading, math, grammar, and vocab, finished in 1.2 hrs

- A&P : study the quizlet that's going around, all of my questions were on the 30 question quizlet, nothing more, scored 100%

- math: lots of ratio questions, I had two military time questions, word problems, some answers are free response

- grammar: there's one question where you have to correctly format a mailing address D:

reading and vocab chill, I had 55 questions though for math reading vocab and grammar

TX ABSN acceptance/denials chances

Just wondering how common it is to get denied admissions to ABSN programs like Texas Tech or A&M in Texas, even if you have the prereqs and the GPA and the Hesi scores. Do they actually look at how much experience you have? I heard that these programs are extremely selective and not that many seats (less than 100 in some locations)

It's my first time applying, so I'm honestly anticipating to not get in this round even though I have all the academic requirements plus two internships (home health and PCT outpatient and ER rotations) and a bunch of licenses and work experience, I'm just nervous that that's not enough D:

if anyone has any experience I'd like to hear about it, whether it was rejected or admitted, thanks !

What are you guys' best habits or daily exercises that help with joint pain throughout the body (aka knees wrists elbows fingers etc)? Is there anything that you eat food wise that has helped with joint pain ? I am in so much dull deep pain every day and I'm so sick of it, unfortunately my doctor wasn't able to diagnose me due to normal blood work.

She said that we can either wait for the blood work to catch up OR it could be a neurological issue, either way she didn't want to pump me with meds that I don't really need (which I agree)

For context: I'm a new rheumatology patient (21F) for about a month, have had generalized joint pain for well over a year but it's gotten worse despite no swelling (at least to me, my mom thinks my hands are swollen but I don't see anything personally), RNP antibody was flagged but everything else was within a normal range, CCP and CRP were within normal ranges too. But my joints hurttt and it's worse in the morning and when I don't move so I can never sit still and I can no longer get up the stairs without either holding the rails or taking an elevator. If I don't constantly move I can feel the pain start to settle in all of my joints making me want to pop and move and shake my arms and legs

I would ask my dad for help (he's the one who typically helps with the entire family's health problems and appointments) but he's no longer around anymore (deceased) so I'm on my own now

studying for the hesi a2, I did some practice exams for A&P because I thought that would be my weakest point but the questions seem so superficial, am I tripping or is that how the questions are supposed to be ? I don't wanna be caught off guard when I take the real thing

Examples of the questions included "which of the following eye structures has the function of color vision" and "what is the unit of a kidney"...

I did already take A&P 1 and 2 a year ago

if anyone took Hesi a2, are the questions really like this or are they way deeper/involve case study questions
