Survey sites vs offer wall apps - what’s actually more consistent for small side income?

I’ve been testing a few different ways to make a bit of extra money in my spare time recently.
Mostly things like:

survey sites
offer wall / task-based apps

What I’ve noticed so far:
Surveys are easy to start but quite inconsistent (lots of disqualifications)
Offer wall apps feel more consistent but the tasks can be repetitive
Some platforms mix both, but quality varies a lot.

I’m still trying to figure out what’s actually more “worth it” if you’re just looking for a bit of extra income on the side.

Curious what others here stick with — do you focus on one type or avoid these altogether?

I tested a few “get paid for surveys/apps” sites in the UK – here’s what actually worked

I’ve been trying out a few of those survey / task websites over the last couple of weeks just to see if they’re actually worth the time.
Most of them are pretty slow and not really worth it honestly, but a couple stood out:

  1. One had consistent small payouts (£1–£5 tasks)

2.Another was better for offers + app installs

  1. Surveys alone were hit or miss depending on screening

I wouldn’t call it “real income”, but it’s decent for spare time on your phone.

If anyone’s interested I can share the ones I kept using and which ones were a waste of time.
