Is apple going to kill old final cut pro trial versions?
I'm aware you can no longer download the trial, but I still have the DMG and I'm running MacOS Sonoma on my M1 Macbook Pro. Honestly, FCP has been absolutely perfect for me and I am so against the subscription model and new direction for FCP. Because the current version is good, I don't need any updates. I'm planning to use this trial version indefinitely, the only concern is if I update macbooks in a few years; does apple kill old software? It's a DMG made to run natively on apple silicon, but in a few MacOS versions, won't apple just stop this old program from running? Or will I be able to use this outdated DMG of Final Cut Pro indefinitely on every apple silicone mac I have, long into the future?
Can apple kill old applications simply because you update your MacOS without updating your architecture, have they done this in the past with other apps. Because no shit I can't run an old program from 2010 on my M1, but an M4 probably runs everything made for M1.
Best solution for a low storage macbook pro
I have the 2020 m1 macbook pro and i'm not looking to upgrade anytime soon, my only gripe is the storage. Will an external ssd be good enough to edit my youtube vlogs or not?
Why don’t they build a bridge connecting Australia’s Pacific Motorway to the American I-80? Are they stupid?
9 Subreddits banned me in the same minutes and are claiming I'm a bot?
What sort of glitch is this?
Best Murray Free camp spots for fires and night sky?
I’ve got some urge to go camping recently before the weather goes to shit. I just want a Saturday night. The plan is to ride from Adelaide to the Murray River for 4-6 hours during the day, enjoy a serene afternoon on my inflatable raft, set up my sleeping bag and stay by the warm fire all night enjoying the starry night and then wake up to the birds chirping and the river flowing, pack up and ride back to Adelaide the next day.
Edit: also maybe a good spot for dinner nearby, a good pub feed, restaurant or something.
What is going on with this generation?
I saw a bunch of kids at the bus station at Mount barker and they were all yelling and taunting the nearby police officer about their illegal electric scooters yelling “illegal e scooter here” while I was waiting for my bus and then asking the old lady next to me if she wanted a durry. These kids looked about 13-14 and it was a mixed group of boys and girls. Then they harassed me and called me broke for taking the bus. I replied by saying they reminded me of myself at their age (even though they don’t) and laughing at their dumb jokes. While secretly hating the lot of them. Just because you’re a teenager doesn’t mean you have to be an annoying and rude little shit. Sure we were all doing dumb stuff at that age but as long as it doesn’t bother others
