Bojack Proposal!

I am going to California with my girlfriend this summer! Where I’ll be proposing and making them my wife as well.

We will be near LA and Long Beach California.

While I’ve been looking for pretty nature locations

Bojack Horseman is their all time favorite show which is thankfully based out of California.

While I have watched the show I’m not familiar with its real life locations. I would love to take her somewhere from the show or they inspired the show I’ve been searching on my own but felt someone here would have far more knowledge. I would ask her but I think I’d be ruining it.

Anyone from these spots have any other unrelated Bojack suggestions that is also fantastic. It’s much easier finding spots in the state you live in.

Temperature Gradient?

Please. Help me.

Please.

I have a 36x18x18 enclosure

and I can’t seem to heat it up enough.

I would really like to know your guys lighting/heating setups so I know where to go. I’ve switched wattage and heat lamps but can’t seem to keep the air temperature high and the basking spot not scalding

I’ve made the baking spot much taller than before I believe it has helped but I know she’s got to not be super comfortable.

She’s quite active and loves to explore and move around but I really think she’d have a good time not freezing.

So I have only ever kept aquatic plants

I’m asking for some more plant suggestions maybe even a good grow light. And some better understanding of the plants I have I’m struggling to find suggestions. And humidity gauges I can plug right into something and see. For all my plants for all my humid hides I want to put a stick in it or something better then the like zoomed ones. I’m waiting on some govees as I only have a temperature gun and this gecko was sprung on me.

I have

Hoya silver moon

Neoregelia

And Haworthia

In this leopard gecko enclosure

Think I may have to take the Haworthia out it was in the arid section but i do have it wrapped in sphagnum moss and just attached to cork I was hoping it could work out but I have a crested gecko enclosure if it would do better in there.

My substrate is reptisoil, play sand, excavator clay. And this is the most stable beautiful burrowing substrate of all time. And for all these plants they like to dry out before watering again so I was hoping it would all be compatible

I getting my clean up crew but I want to make a background now for more spots for plants and hides.
