I'm based in France and currently working on a custom ring project using natural melee diamonds (ideally) and a custom inquiry from TheFellowshipForge. I know Etsy isn't the most reliable place to buy gemstones, but despite my research I haven't been able to find a trustworthy supplier outside of Etsy that carries the exact sizes I need in small quantities (especially for the baguettes….). So I'm looking for feedback on Etsy shops specializing in diamonds, and if you know of any reliable sources outside of Etsy that could supply these sizes, I'd absolutely love to know!

Here are the stones I'm looking for (natural untreated OR LAB diamonds, F-G / VS, as long as I don’t get scammed):
* Pear cut 3x2mm (quantity : 2)
* Marquise cut 2.5x1.25mm (quantity : 4)
* Round brilliant 1.2mm (quantity : 4)
* Round brilliant 1mm (quantity : 4)
* Baguette 3.5x1.25mm (quantity : 4)

I've received two quotes :

Quote 1 (Thailand-based seller, FancyGemGuy on Etsy): ~$380 for the full lot. He confirmed he already has the stones in the right sizes in stock, and I'm waiting for photos…
Quote 2 (India-based, gemsforjewels on Etsy): $1,238 per carat, which would come out to ~$550 for the estimated total weight. Significantly more expensive for similar specs.
Do these prices seem fair to you? Have you bought from either of these sellers or similar shops? And most important : do you think I can trust these sellers?

Hey, I have this monstera that recently started growing a shoot directly from the soil. I've had several monsteras for 4 years now and I've never seen this before... I thought new leaves only grew from the main stem? Could it be some kind of bulb that started growing? I don't dare repot it yet to see what's going on underground.
