The Austrian Chamber of Labor has won a significant legal victory against the Kiwi.com platform. The court has found 31 violations. For example forced "Kiwi credits" instead of money refunds, even when the carrier cancelled the flight. Charging for luggage after showing an airline tariff where luggage is included, various unexplained and unjustified charges
More about it here:
Do yourself a favor and stay away from kiwi.com and similar dubious resellers. I can't see any reason to buy not directly from the carrier. Maybe in a rare scenario when you cancel yourself and never intend to fly to destinations offered by this carrier, then you can save some of the sum via those credits to use somewhere else. Be aware that kiwi.com charges double the price of any carrier, and with the aforementioned charges and fees , you lose. The same goes with rail ticket reseller websites of the railninja group that run websites pretending to be national train operators like austrianrailways.com etc..
Every train carrier in Europe has a website with an English or multiple languages option.
