Feeling burned out, or irrelevant in the industry

Hello!

Concept artist here. I have 3+ years of experience in the industry. I had the opportunity to work on series, films, videogames and even side gigs, for AAA companies, indies etc.

I am incredibly lucky to be currently working with a big client and on a huge project as a freelance concept artist, focused on environment, but regarding the art of my colleagues and other artists involved, im feeling really irrelevant.

To be honest, I have this impression since the two past years. When I ask for feedback and tips from leads, they say that « nothing to worry about ». But I have this feeling growing, and I feel I am currently stuck.

Also, I think I got overfed because of instagram, pinterest and other plateforms ; I feel drowned regarding the productivity and the level of other concept artist, sometimes younger than me, and sometimes I feels like it’s over. Friends and family think I’m close to burnout, but I’m not sure.

My contract ends in two weeks, and after taking  real break, I want to come back to basics ; studies, exercices, painfull but incredibly usefull exercices regarding concept art for environment.

Do you guys have/had the same feelings ? Do you have any recommendations or exercices ?

Thanks and sorry, english is not my main langage.
