Does water conditioner work??

I know this group pretty well and I know there are a ton of us that have so many plant babies so I thought I’d start here. Just a general question.

I just moved and the water here is so chlorinated I can smell it from the faucet 🤮. I’d like to figure out a way to treat this water…if possible…or I’ll have to buy distilled water for my plants and I have a ton of them. So it’s gonna cost me!!

I’ve seen so many conditioners that claim to remove chlorine and the other harsh chemicals. Has anyone used them? If so do they work?

Picture #1 was one month ago the others are from today 4/27/2026! I got the one leaf cutting no roots just the leaf and stem, on 11/25/2025 finally saw some growth in March 2026 and then explosion since. Hoyas may take a bit to root from cuttings but patience and care seem to pay off big time once they establish themselves. I love the sun stress color. It’s been in a small greenhouse since I got it. She’s almost ready for an up pot to a bigger prop cup!!

I just saw this today and was fascinated looking at this unfurling leaf. I’ve never seen anything like this before, but I love it. Looks like a rose yes but the corkscrew way it’s growing is so very cool too!! Can’t wait to see what happens next. “The Saga of the Swiss Cheese Rose” 😆
