I am thinking of taking a college sponsored gap year to do a year of service in an underdeveloped country. This will be for zero academic credit but paid for by the university. I will, therefore, start my freshman year one year late and become the class of 2031. Can I keep my Hagen scholarship while starting college one year later or will they rescind?
