In hospital waiting for this sucker to be popped

(Click to see no 1 fully it cuts off weird)Photos of how it started to how it's going. Woke up Sunday morning with a gnarly dental abscess after a slight toothache the day before. Went and got antibiotics from out of hours, however Monday ended up in A&E feeling rather unwell and in absolute agony. Turned out I'd got early sepsis in such a short time so I'm glad I went in! Been admitted with the full shindig of antibiotics, fluids, steroids and morphine and probably having surgery in the morning to remove the offending tooth and debride the infection under general.

Is it bad I want to ask the surgeon to take a picture of all the goop they get out of this sucker? 🤣

Ps excuse the dry as fuck lips I've not been able to open my mouth enough to drink very well 😬

Should I go back to the hospital?

Woke up Sunday morning with my face looking like pic one. Called out of ours dentistry (UK) who advised a&e. Max fax took x-ray, attempted to drain and provided antibiotics (co amoxiclav) and to come back for draining under sedation if it gets worse or spreads to under my tongue or towards the eye. Overnight I was having massive night sweats with a fever, increased swelling (particularly in the lower jaw neck area), headache and horrific stomach spasms that only started when this bugger appeared. Pic two is how it currently looks. Some pus did drain from the incision they made but not much and I can only open my mouth about 1cm (just enough to sip water basically). Should I give the antibiotics more of a chance or is it something the hospital needs to deal with?
