For context: I have four boys; 16, 12, 3 and 19 months. My three year old attends preschool four hours a day, four days a week. We have a standing appointment every Friday morning somewhere else. My spouse leaves at 6a and is home at 6:30p (he goes to the gym then to work).

When at home with my 19 month old, I spend time teaching, playing, and then working on schoolwork and other things that keeps me grounded. Once all kids are home it’s the typical routine of life with cleaning, cooking, prepping for appointments, school, bed, etc.

Between ADHD, peri, and having two kids back to back, I’m the heaviest I’ve been in my life and I’m just- tired. I try to go for walks as much as possible but some days, I’m not up for it. Some days, the littles are not up for it. I’ve joined gyms to either not go because my schedule doesn’t permit or was thrown off or because I’m tired. I have a treadmill and weights at home, however it never fails that when I carve out time to workout, I’m constantly interrupted by the kids and a 30 minute workout easily turns into a one hour workout that I’ve had to stop and start multiple times due to disruptions. Then I get frustrated and quit.

I toured the YMCA as an option but didn’t care for the childcare area as it seemed crowded and didn’t smell like it was cleaned regularly. I tried early gym mornings and late nights. I considered going back to those but honestly safety is and was my biggest concern (I may be overthinking). I’m ready to become active again but need some suggestions and maybe tips to get out of my own head and get started.

Hi there, can someone please remove the seatbelt and change the background to something that has plants/nature? My budget is $20.

Thanks in advance!

Added water, loaded the k-cup and pressed start. Walked away to stop my toddler from getting ice out the freezer (side note: curse the man that designed these stupid bottom load freezers). Heard a weird drizzling noise and was thoroughly confused. It never even dawned on me I forgot the cup. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I clearly need to go take my medicine.
