Hey! Not sure if this is the best way to report this but at the very least its exposed to other people that might have the same problem.
So i recently got the Cloud Alpha 2 and honestly i love it. Software obviously needs more work but at this time and point its decent enough just not intuitive.
I was having this issue where in basically any game, even light stuff like League or Shadow of War, the audio would randomly cut out for 1-2 sec and then come back, or it would do this interference/static sound before cutting. It was way more regular if I was on Discord.
I started using tools like LatencyMon to check what was up and after a lot of time troubleshooting with no success I found out the bug comes from the spatial audio side. The "Full Release" version of NGENUITY has this bug where if you try to uninstall it, it doesn't actually take the virtual devices with it. I literally had to install the Beta version and then uninstall THAT just to get the virtual devices to actually leave my system.
When I reinstalled the software, it asked if I wanted to install the virtual devices for spatial audio and I just refused. Since then, the audio has been great and I haven't had a single hiccup. NGENUITY still lets me control the base station RGB and check battery, but it stays away from my Windows audio drivers.
I do miss having the surround sound on tho since its way more immersive for certain games, but at least the cutting out stopped. If you're having this issue, just purge the drivers (hopefully you have the Beta installed and/or have its installer) and skip the spatial install.
I hope this helps!
