IHG Platinum Ambassador Six Senses Massage Benefit Discontinued
Hi All,
I have a reservation at the new Six Senses London that I have been looking forward to. As an IHG Platinum Ambassador, I look forward to the Six Senses specific benefits, which included the 2 complimentary massages.
However, I just received word from the hotel that this benefit has been discontinued? I don’t believe I ever received formal notification from IHG.
Additional information from the hotel:
“During the final preparation checks, a leak was discovered in the pool, which requires immediate attention before it can safely open for guests. As a result, our indoor pools (including the magnesium pool and cold plunge pool), Finnish sauna and steam room will unfortunately not be available during your stay. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
That said, several of our wellness experiences remain available. Our Hammam, Bio Sauna, Infrared Sauna and Ice Bath can be booked and enjoyed as part of our curated spa experiences, alongside our full menu of treatments, allowing you to design your own moments of relaxation and rejuvenation. Our gym is also fully operational throughout your stay.
If access to the pool and thermal facilities was a key part of your stay, I completely understand and would be pleased to assist you should you prefer to cancel or amend your reservation, entirely free of charge.”
What a shame. I supposed I will be cancelling my stay as pretty much everything I was looking forward to for my stay is unavailable. And for $1200USD/night just for a room?
No thanks.
