Hi.

I'm 24 years old, female, and I've been struggling with health issues for while but most perplexing is the ALT levels I've seen on bloodwork in the past few months. I've never had any issues with this previously, except for when I was using a lot of NSAIDs in high school. Now, with gastroparesis I don't take any NSAIDs unless I really have to, which is maybe once every month and a half. In early February my Alt level was 43, which they didn't see as an issue and told me to test again in 3 months. They tested it again a week later for my physical and it had gone down to 34, so we thought it was fine. I'm now undergoing allergy testing and they tested my liver values again, which is now 54. I understand that it's not that high, but I am concerned based on the fact that I have no idea what could be causing this. I've never had a single drop of alcohol, I've checked and none of my medications should cause liver issues. I'm normal weight (five foot five and 117 pounds) and none of my other liver numbers are elevated.

Should I follow up with a doctor about this or am I just overthinking things?
