3 choices - not enough watches

I had a blue bezel insert on this watch and it broke. I removed it and ordered two more inserts from WR Accessories (great to work with). A blue one to replace my previous and a silver for options.

Well... While waiting on the inserts, I fell in love with the polished silver/no insert look. Now I have to decide what to do... I like all options.

I guess I could always order a couple more watches for more projects.... maybe put the silver bezel on the MDV 107 Grey dial.

Ugh. I hate decisions.

No bezel insert

I really like the look of this watch without the bezel insert. I would love to find a plain insert for the Duro that was just plain silver. I would be okay if it had some etched markings but prefer the clean look.

I have a couple inserts ordered and aren't due in for a couple weeks, but would it hurt to wear the watch without a bezel insert? Other than collecting dirt I can't imagine how it could damage the watch.

Does the bezel insert provide any protection?

This is going to be an unpopular opinion, but hear me out...

I LOVE my Gshock 5610-u. It's my goto for yard work, hiking or anything where a watch could take abuse.

But...I went camping this weekend. A perfect scenario for the Gshock. But I also ended up taking my Protek Tritium T100 watch.

I'm 57, and need readers for my phone, watch, computer, etc. I had my Gshock on, it got dark, I didn't have my glasses, and even with the backlight I couldn't read the watch. I switched to my Protek and due to the T100 tubes and being analog, I had no problem reading my watch all weekend.

I know the Protek won't take the beating the Gshock will. It doesn't have the water resistance, but for this situation, the Protek was by far the better choice.

It not really anything to do with the Gshock, it's actually just digital vs analog, and backlight vs Tritium T100 tubes.

But for me..... UNLESS I can find a Gshock that is SUPER visible after dark and analog, the Protek will be my go to camping watch. Maybe a Luminox.....

Hello all. I've posted this question in another post, but just keep getting Likes instead on answers....

My question. If purchasing a dial from urvintsge.se, does it come with dial feet?

If not, do dial dots work and is there a certain size needed?

How do you handle the dial feet question?

Last thing I want is to get into something and not be prepared with what I need.

Total newb in need of information....

Thanks all.

Picture for attention... so the picture attached was my first attempt. Yes, it's only a bezel change but I was very nervous about it. I wanted a white dial, but silver was what I found. I had reached out to UrVintage.se but hadn't heard from him and I was skeptical.

Since then, I've seen several mods with his dials.

Here's my questions regarding urvintage.se:

- Those of you from the US - How are the custom charges handled?

- When ordering dials - are the dial feet included?

MOD QUESTIONS IN GENERAL:

- how do you handle the dial feet? I've seen the dial dots. Do you use them? Are they enough?

- Do you order actual feet and fill out the dial bank for the feet?

The questions on vintage are slightly delaying my order, but the unknown about how to handle the dial feet is really holding me back.

I would love to hear your experience with urvintage.se and how you deal with the dial feet situation.

Thanks all.... sorry this was so long.
