Sitting your PhD viva (UK) sick - Experiences

Posting here as I am assuming more people will have passed vivas compared to the PhD subs.

My viva is in 4 days and I've been super sick. Medicating for 2 weeks now but this stubborn flu or infection or whatever it is is refusing to go away. My current GP is useless. Not sure what to do anymore. Revision has been harder for obvious reasons.

I am just accepting I won't be feeling myself and might have to sit the viva sick, with a running nose and a congested brain, literally, not functioning properly.

Anyone else who had to sit a viva sick? How did it go? Did you mention anything? Did you feel more or less nervous?

Any words of wisdom and encouragement more than welcome!

What is the pulse of life in Geneva, how would you describe it?

Doesn't matter if you're Swiss or an expat living there, I'm curious to hear from multiple people.

What is the vibe of Geneva? How are the people? Are there alternative places? What do people do for fun?

I will be relocating there after my PhD for a postdoc at the UNIGE and curious to hear from both locals and expats!
