Sorry I just can’t get past the idea that a-list comedian legends are pulling Ben aside at the Comedy Store to say "thank you for your service" against Jeff Dye
The idea that an A list comic or anyone else gives a shit about Jeff dye being such a meanie that they consider Ben to be a hero for “taking him down” on a zoom call is delusional.
Since when did Devan and Ben become such Comedy store little darlings anyway? I thought they were hated by these people.
Also, Ben’s entire thesis for months was that Jeff is an arrogant Hollywood hack who never takes accountability or admits he's wrong. Yet when Ben got all butt-hurt about Jeff saying he "wasn't a comedian," Jeff immediately explained he was just quoting Ben's own bits, literally said, "Well then I take it back," and conceded the point in real-time like a normal adult.
I am not a Jeff dye fan at all, and he may be a horrible person, but Ben wasn’t funny, he was honestly pretty cruel. Everything he tried to accuse Dye of, ie being cruel or not admitting he’s wrong is exactly what Ben himself was actually doing. The Cope and then the gaslighting of his own fans behind a paywall (after claiming on after tonight his content isn’t paywalled btw) very disappointing, boys!!
