I have been making some custom cards lately and I keep running into the same problem.

The beginning is always the best part. I will have a clear idea, choose the art and maybe try a new finish or texture.

But when I am halfway through, I start to think too much.

I will change the layout, then change it again and then wonder if I should change something completely. What should have taken a few hours ends up taking a lot longer.

I sometimes just leave and come back later and it is funny how it usually looks fine the first time.

I think it is less about making it perfect and more about knowing when to stop.

I want to know how you all deal with this. Do you stop when you reach a certain point or do you keep making changes until it feels right?
